Traveling the world can be a comforting adventure or an uncomfortable nightmare...and I've done it all!
No matter how much you end up paying for the fanciest hotel room, it seems to be the unwritten rule, that you will undoubtedly be kept up all night by....unpleasnt...noises from your neighbors. When you're traveling with kids, this becomes even more awkward.
What Ive loved about traveling with Airbnb is the pivacy we get. The open space to feel at home and the freedom to be ourselves. It has allowed us to plan more trips out in the country, where we love to explore and hike, and the views seem to always be breathtaking!
To date, Scotland has been our favourite location so far! So much to see and easy to drive around in! The people are friendly, the food is comforting, and the landscapes are out of this world!
During one of our stays in the highlands of Scotland, we stayed in a rustic and cozy wood burning Airbnb cabin! We took daily trips to surrounding castles and hiking trips through Isle of Skye and Glenncoe. Our stay was only $13 per night! Try staying in a hotel for that cost!
As someone from Florida, the couple hour drive from one side of the country to the other, was seemingly nothing, although some Europeans may say differnt. The freedm of everything being "so close" allowed us a huge variety of things to see and do for little to no cost!
One little tip was enjoyed was to pay for the Scottish Heritage & National Trust Passes for massive discounts on entry fees into places like Culloden Battlefield, Eilean Donan Castle, & Edinburh Castle! The pass allowed us to save on each different location (and many others), and was free to cancel at any time after, saving us tons of money on this vacation!
Traveling cheaply can be so easy! Travel through Airbnb for your next affordable vacation.
