Arrive in the land of legends and check into one of Scotland’s most haunted castles. Meet your fellow seekers over dinner within the castle walls, then step into the witching hour for a ghost hunt, where the echoes of the past may stir around you.
Day 2 – The Realm of the Fae
After a leisurely morning, we journey to Glen Creran’s Fairy Bridge, where the veil between worlds is thin. Walk woodland trails, connect through guided meditation, and for the brave, wild swim beneath the falls for a fae blessing.
Day 3 – The Drovers Inn: A Night Among Ghosts
Venture to Scotland’s most haunted inn, where spirits of the past still linger. After settling in, prepare for a night of ghost hunting, where the restless energy of centuries past may come calling.
Day 4 – The Enchanted Waters of the Fae
Hike to the Falls of Falloch, a place of faerie lore and Highland legends. Listen to the whispers of the water spirits, and for those who dare, immerse in the icy waters for a chance at eternal beauty.
Day 5 – Whispers of the Ancients & Shadows of Edinburgh
Visit the Livingston Standing Stones, where ancient energy lingers. As night falls, walk Edinburgh’s haunted streets and vaults, where the shadows of history and legend await.

Agreement & Acceptance

By booking this retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

These terms and conditions represent the full agreement between you, the participant ("traveller"), and Realms of Alchemy ("we," "our," "us") regarding all bookings, transactions, and retreat-related services.
When you submit a booking form, make a deposit, and confirm acceptance at checkout, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any travel partner(s) you register.

By joining us, you entrust us to curate a transformational experience, blending ancient wisdom, paranormal exploration, and deep spiritual connection in the hauntingly magical landscapes of Scotland.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that life is unpredictable. To ensure fairness to all participants and the sustainability of our retreats, the following cancellation and refund policies apply:

Deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your place and cover pre-arranged retreat costs.
Cancellations made 90+ days before the retreat start date receive a 50% refund of the total retreat cost (minus the deposit).
Cancellations made less than 90 days before the retreat start date are non-refundable, as accommodations, experiences, and logistics will have been finalized.
If Realms of Alchemy must cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, global travel restrictions), participants will receive:
✅ A full refund (excluding any third-party costs beyond our control), OR
✅ The option to transfer their booking to a future retreat of equal value.

Participant Responsibilities

Take responsibility for their own well-being, including necessary travel documents, health considerations, and personal expenses.
Understand the physical and energetic nature of the retreat—some activities may include moderate walking, outdoor exploration, and spiritual/energy work. Please assess your personal fitness and comfort level before booking.
Arrive on time for scheduled activities and excursions to maintain the retreat’s flow.
Abstain from disruptive or disrespectful behaviour, including actions that may negatively impact fellow participants or the sacred sites we visit.

Respect for Sacred & Haunted Locations

As we will be visiting historical, sacred, and paranormal sites, participants are expected to act respectfully toward these locations, their history, and any energies or spirits encountered.
Anyone engaging in reckless or disrespectful behaviour may be removed from activities at the discretion of the retreat leaders.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

By booking this retreat, you acknowledge and accept the following:

You are voluntarily participating in this experience and assume full responsibility for any risks involved, including physical, emotional, and spiritual effects.
Realms of Alchemy, its facilitators, and affiliated partners are not responsible for any injuries, lost/stolen property, accidents, or unexpected spiritual experiences during the retreat.
You understand that paranormal and spiritual work can be energetically intense and should be approached with personal responsibility and self-care.
You release Realms of Alchemy from any liability related to travel delays, force majeure events, or actions outside of our control.

Arrival & Immersion into Scotland’s Mystical Landscapes

As you arrive at Edinburgh Airport, the crisp Scottish air carries the whispers of ancient legends, welcoming you to a land steeped in magic and mystery. Our journey begins with a scenic drive to Loch Lomond, where we’ll pause for a breathtaking photo opportunity, taking in the wild beauty of the highlands.

From there, we travel west to one of Scotland’s most haunted castles—Barcaldine Castle in Oban. Known as the "Black Castle," its ancient walls hold ghostly tales of restless spirits and centuries-old secrets. After settling into your chambers, take a moment to immerse yourself in its hauntingly beautiful atmosphere.

As night falls, we’ll gather for a Welcome Dinner within the castle walls, sharing stories, laughter, and anticipation for the supernatural encounters to come. But the night has one final initiation…

Under the cover of darkness, we’ll embark on a late-night ghost hunt, venturing deep into the witching hour when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. As we explore the castle’s haunted corridors, we will listen for whispers of the past, opening ourselves to the mystical and the unknown.

2 DAY 2: 17th June 2026

A Journey into the Realm of the Fae

After an intense night of ghost hunting, the morning is yours to sleep in, rest, and recharge within the historic walls of Barcaldine Castle. Take your time to reflect on the previous night’s encounters, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, or simply soak in the eerie beauty of your surroundings.

In the late afternoon, we will set out for Glen Creran, a place where the veil between worlds is whisper-thin. Our gentle woodland hike leads us to the Fairy Bridge, a hidden gem steeped in Scottish folklore.

Upon arrival, we will pause for a guided meditation, attuning ourselves to the energy of the fae and spirit realms. Here, surrounded by ancient trees and the murmurs of unseen forces, we open ourselves to the magic that lingers in these lands.

Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a peaceful packed lunch by the bridge, allowing time to absorb the mystical energy before making our way back through the woodlands.

Returning to Barcaldine Castle for another night, the evening is yours to unwind, reflect, and share stories from the past two days—before settling in for whatever mysteries the castle holds after dark.

3 DAY 3: 18th June 2026

Into the Heart of Scotland’s Haunted Past

After a restful morning at Barcaldine Castle, we bid farewell to its ancient spirits and storied halls, setting out on our next adventure—a journey into the dark and mysterious history of The Drovers Inn, known as the most haunted inn in Scotland.

As we travel through Scotland’s breathtaking landscapes, the rugged beauty of the highlands unfolds around us, leading us to this centuries-old inn, where the past lingers in every shadow. With a history dating back over 300 years, The Drovers Inn has long been a refuge for weary travellers—and a hotspot for paranormal activity.

Upon arrival, take time to settle into your historic and possibly haunted chambers before we gather for an evening filled with eerie tales, whispered legends, and a ghost hunt deep into the witching hour.

Will we encounter the spirits of long-lost travellers, the ghostly apparitions of the past, or the restless energy that makes The Drovers Inn infamous?

We will spend two nights at The Drovers Inn, giving us plenty of time to uncover its secrets, experience its chilling atmosphere, and embrace the haunted history that awaits.

4 DAY 4: 19th June 2026

The Enchanted Waters of the Fae

After a night of ghostly encounters at The Drovers Inn, the morning is yours to wake at your own pace, reflect on the supernatural, and recharge for another day of adventure.

In the afternoon, we set off on a scenic journey to the Falls of Falloch, a breathtaking waterfall nestled in the Scottish Highlands. Known for its tranquil beauty and mystical energy, this hidden gem is said to be a place where the fae gather, and ancient spirits whisper through the mist.

As we wander along the woodland trails, we’ll dive deep into Scottish folklore, tales of water spirits, and the mysterious beings that are said to guard these sacred places. Keep your senses open—this is a perfect spot for faerie sightings, nature spirits, and moments of pure enchantment.

For those who dare to embrace the wild magic of the land, there is an opportunity to wild swim beneath the falls—to feel the icy embrace of the waters and receive the legendary blessing of eternal beauty. As we leave The Drovers Inn behind, we step deeper into Scotland’s mysteries, where ancient stones and restless spirits await. Our journey takes us first to the Livingston Standing Stones, an enigmatic site lost to time. Are they markers of forgotten rituals, portals to the unseen, or something else entirely? We will take time to listen—to the land, to the whispers in the wind, and to whatever secrets the stones are willing to share.

As dusk falls, we arrive in Edinburgh, a city where history and hauntings walk hand in hand. Here, in the narrow closes and darkened alleyways, the past lingers. We embark on a ghost tour through the city’s most haunted locations, stepping into the infamous underground vaults and wandering through Greyfriars Kirkyard, where shadows move on their own. By lantern light, our guides will weave tales of unrested souls, strange occurrences, and things best left undisturbed.

When the night has told its final tale, we retreat to Dalhousie Castle, where the echoes of history are never far away. Whether you rest easy or find yourself drawn to explore its haunted halls, the night is yours—until the solstice fire calls us forward into the next chapter of our journey.

6 DAY 6: 21th June 2026

Midsummer’s Fire – The Summer Solstice Celebration

As the sun reaches its zenith on Midsummer’s Day, we leave the shadowed halls of The Drovers Inn and journey toward Dalhousie Castle, a grand fortress near Edinburgh that has stood for over 700 years. This will be our final castle stay, and what better night to arrive than the Summer Solstice—the most powerful day of the year for transformation, magic, and fire rituals.

Midsummer has long been celebrated as a portal between worlds, a time when the veil is thin, the sun’s energy is at its peak, and ancient traditions call us to honour the dance between light and shadow. As evening falls, we will step into the heart of these sacred solstice rites, embracing a ceremony that has been practised for centuries.

The Fire Ceremony & Solstice Dance

Under the twilight sky, we will gather for a ceremonial fire dance, moving in rhythm with the flames that symbolize purification, courage, and renewal. The fire will burn away what no longer serves us, making space for new intentions, abundance, and power to enter our lives.

With hearts full and spirits ignited, we bid farewell to our new forever friends and set off toward Edinburgh Airport, carrying with us the magic of Scotland—the echoes of its castles, the wisdom of its land, and the whispers of the unseen that will remain with us always.
